BA fresher resume format
A BA resume fails when it describes the degree and succeeds when it demonstrates output. Nobody screens for 'strong communication skills' as a claim; they screen for something you wrote, organised or ran.
The strongest BA resumes carry a portfolio link. Published articles, a blog with real posts, a college magazine you edited, a debate circuit record, an event you organised with a headcount attached.
Pick a lane and commit. Content, HR, operations, communications and teaching all hire BA graduates, but they screen for different things and a single undirected resume misses all of them.
Section order
Top to bottom. The order matters more than the styling, because it decides what a reader sees in the first few seconds.
- HeaderName, phone, email, LinkedIn, portfolio link, city.
- SummaryTwo lines naming the target function. Essential here.
- SkillsConcrete and checkable: writing, research, a language, a tool.
- Experience / internshipsAny paid or unpaid work with an outcome attached.
- Projects / portfolioPublished work, events organised, campaigns run.
- Positions of responsibilityFramed as scope: people, budget, headcount.
- EducationBA with specialisation and marks, then 12th.
What has to be on the page
- A portfolio or writing-sample link, if the target is content or communications.
- A two-line summary that names the function you are applying into.
- Positions of responsibility written with numbers: how many people, how large a budget, how many attendees.
- Languages listed with proficiency, which is a genuine screened asset for content and BPO roles.
Bullets in the right shape
Bracketed values are placeholders. Substitute your own real figures, and leave a line out entirely rather than inventing a number for it.

Questions
What jobs can a BA fresher apply for?
Content writing, HR, recruitment, operations, customer experience, communications, sales and teaching all hire BA graduates directly. Each screens differently, so target one per resume version rather than sending one generic file.
How do I write a BA resume with no work experience?
Use college output as the evidence base: publications, events organised with headcounts, societies led with team sizes, any freelance work. The structure is the same as any fresher resume; only the source of the bullets changes.
